The HEAD Foundation is proud to have taken part in this year’s SMU Career Fair on 7 October 2016 to raise awareness about the Foundation and introduce our work and possible opportunities to talent from a variety of backgrounds. The biannual event, which regularly attracts more than 300 undergraduates and postgraduates, is considered to be one of the best ways to reach out to SMU’s diverse and rich pool of talent.
The Foundation’s team at the event observed a trend among the attendees – many were looking to go beyond the typical corporate job and are keen in developing careers that have a wider purpose. Being one of the few non-profits at the fair, involved directly in the business of creating social impact and influencing human capital development, participants expressed an overwhelming interest in THF. Besides finding out in greater detail about the Foundation and the work we do, the team also received expressions of interest for internship and full-time positions as well as resumes from interested applicants. the team also received expressions of interest for internship and full-time positions as well as resumes from interested applicants.
