What The Hack 2017, organised by the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), is a 24-hour hackathon that aims to bring together people of multiple disciplines and provide them with the resources to jumpstart their ideas.
What The Hack, which will be held from 30 September to 1 October, aims to challenge participants by encouraging them to tackle wicked, tough and abstract problems with any tools that they may have at hand. The outcome of the hackathon is to have a working prototype (software, hardware or both) that can help them showcase or explain ideas.
The HEAD Foundation proudly supports What The Hack 2017 as the Platinum Sponsor, and will be part of the judging panel. Prizes to be sponsored by The HEAD Foundation are the Best Space Idea, Best Environment Idea, Best Education Idea, and Best Security Idea. By supporting the competition, the Foundation hopes to encourage bold, innovative and scalable ideas in addressing complex challenges our world faces.
